Description of Internship:
Internships are individually tailored to meet the needs of both the student and Great Start Regional Child Care Resource Center. Possible duties might include:
Collaborating on plans for expanding and improving services to families and child care providers
Presenting educational trainings on child development topics, to either parents or child care providers
Assisting with the setting up of a lending library, preparing unit plans for theme boxes
Conducting provider support group meetings
Developing online instructional courses for parents and child care providers
Assisting with marketing the program and/or writing brochures and print materials
These are just a few examples of projects, but certainly not the limit. Undergraduate and graduate
