You may also qualify for the Women's Caring Program.  You can find an application at www.mi4c.org, under Parent Resources, by clicking Childcare Commitment Grants.
 
 
Tax Help
 
You may also qualify for various tax credits for child care expenses.  There are basically 3 types of Tax Credit programs that may help you:  Eligibility for Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, and Child and Dependent Care Credit.  Be sure to ask your accountant about these programs and if you would qualify.  You may also call the IRS's toll free number, 800-829-3676, for information on these three Tax Credit programs and the forms needed to apply for them. You can also visit IRS’s website for information: http://www.irs.gov.
 
If you need free help in preparing tax returns, call the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Site: 1-800-829-1040.
